My favourite breakfasts!

Updated: Apr 19, 2023

GRANOLA SHAKE BOWL

Thaaat's my fitness buddy.

* coconut/almond yoghurt, almon/oat milk, water

* a plain protein powder, or spirulina if you like

* nut butter, linseed oil, soaked nuts

* banana, dates, berries

* some greens - baby spinach, cucumber...

* extras: cinnamon, vanilla, orange essence, cocoa...

* topping: homemade granola/buckinis, nuts, dried fruit/berries (mulberries, goji), dark chocolate - something crunchy.

* on top of the top: hemp seeds, blended linseeds, pollen...

You can also add chia seeds or psyllium or linseed into the blender, can help your digestion!

Adjust the consistency to your likes with water. If too runny, add oats or almond powder...

COOKIES

Yeeeah cookies farandole! Often use the ingredients I would put in a muesli so they are perfect for a quick breakfast.

AVOCADO TOAST

Sometimes with an egg...

SAVOURY? With spinach, pickles... YES! but only at brunchtime for me.

Savoury breakfast can be a good thing (aka chrononutrition & insulin level), and I can have an omelett or veggie toast at 10-11 am if I had an early start.

If you want to go in this direction, try a seed cracker, some veggie spread, avocado, omelett with baby spinach, a piece of hard cheese like parmesan, nuts, cucumber and cottage cheese, pumpkin and tahini, savoury porridge... Then just listen to your body and see what you can knock out according to your time.

PROTEIN OR OAT PANCAKES

Pancakes can't be out of my list. Something I enjoy when I have time in the morning, even more if I can share them.

PEANUT BUTTER TOAST

The perfect combination, you'd say. I recommend it with sourdough bread or a homemade gluten-free buckwheat & oat bread. Not to often though, you enjoy this one more if you vary the other days. Check that you have not problems with peanuts (irritating!) and enjoy the butter in moderation.

NOTHING

Can't eat at 7 am nowadays so when I'm out for live coaching or classes I often leave the breakfast out and I'm not starving. I usually have an early lunch then or sometimes a late breakfast...

What are your habits? How does your breakfast influences your morning energy & mood? Are you reconsidering your diet? I'd be happy to hear from you!
